It is said that life is the best teacher. Given that, my life has given me extensive experience to be a redesigner. My first redesign occurred when I was just 13 by "organizing" the new house my cousin moved into. As I placed her things in appropriate places, I couldn't resist rearranging the furniture and hanging her pictures to complement the arrangement. It all made sense and she loved it!
In college I devoured architectural drafting classes and every design course I could take. Prior to staying home to raise my beautiful daughters, I enjoyed working in furniture stores and was the top designer salesperson with Ethan Allen furniture the majority of my time there.
The past twenty years have been spent moving about the country and Europe with my Army officer husband and family. My 12 moves with him, combined with my 16 moves with my Army officer Dad has given me ample opportunity to redefine and redesign my personal belongings, many times over. Along the way, friends and acquaintenances have asked me and employed me to do the same with their belongings.
Now, as my children need me less and less and I crave to release my creative energy, I offer my design services to you.
